Life can get pretty complicated at times.  So complicated and twisted that you don’t know which way is up and which way is down.  Life seems to be like that right now.  Being a grown-up is more difficult then you would ever think.  Making a choice that makes you “happy” may not be an option.  But you always have these truths to lean on.

  • And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.  Love will always guide you and catch you when you fall.  If everything else is in a whirlwind you can always count on your family to love you no matter what and isn’t that what makes life beautiful after all?
  • Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.   He ALWAYS answers.  It may not be an answer that is satisfactory to you, but answer he does.  My faith is based in experience and I have had so many wonderful experiences because the Lord has guided me through them.  I am such a worrier when it comes to the unknown future but He has always led me through it.
  • He never gives more than I can bear.  Life sometimes feels unbearable, this is true.  But we make it through and persevere.  Every time in my life where I get to that point where I feel like I just can’t take anymore, I make it through.  Not only do I make it through but I become better than I was before.  Growing pains suck but being a little bit more grown up is empowering isn’t it?
  • Life is not fair.  Who ever told you anything in life was going to be “fair” was lying.  Don’t expect things to automatically go your way.  As much as you need to trust in the Lord to lead you, you also need to be willing to work hard to get to the destination he has planned for you.

These are my truths.  What are yours?
